[The person Reyes is talking to is instantly recognizable, of course, even as the conversation falls by the wayside as they come upon the cell. Strike Commander Jack Morrison, blue coat and all, trails a few steps behind, but quickly catches up when Reyes comes to a halt in front of the captive. Standing next to each other, the two practically look like night and day, not that Jack is any less intimidating. Just a different kind.

But they have dossiers on Jesse McCree. Jack has read them, even though dealing with the Deadlock Gang had been Gabe's responsibility. There's talent and maybe a good (albeit misguided) person, here in front of them in the cell, and he's young. He thinks that maybe they can make this work.
