[Ana’s not any more over her head than she usually gets, but Jack arriving on the scene is a welcome relief. He’s much more efficient at dispatching enemies when they’re overwhelmed, and he clears a path to her and falls right in step, taking out the guards she’d previously been a firefight with before they even know what’s happening. Together, the two of them don’t need to think.
It’s only the sound of Winston’s roar that snaps them out of it, and Jack shares a glance with Ana that doesn’t need a verbal accompaniment. They both know what that is, and without saying a word, they’re both taking off back in the direction where they left Winston.
